On Saturday, March 9th at 9:00am, Frankie Andreu will be the announcer for the RED BLUFF Gran Fondo & Century in Monticello, Mississippi.

The evening prior to RED BLUFF on Friday, March 8th from 5:30 to 7:00pm, Frankie will be at The Bike Crossing in Ridgeland, Mississippi for a 45 minute Presentation followed by a time for Questions and Answers. Food and Drink will be provided.

The inaugural Red Bluff will give cyclists two event options to experience the challenging bluffs, hills, roads and weather conditions of South Mississippi in early March. The start and finish of the two distances will be located at the Lawrence County Courthouse in downtown Monticello, Mississippi. The depart will begin on Saturday March 9, 2019 at 9:00 am. Red Bluff is a benefit for the Lawrence County Volunteer Fire Departments.

Red Bluff Gran Fondo

The Red Bluff Gran Fondo distance of 103.5 miles includes challenging roads through the grueling Red Bluff and St. Stephens regions west and then east of the Pearl River. Cyclists will be challenged by approximately 5,000 +- feet of vertical climbing over the 17 bluffs and hills as the course includes the historic River Road and St. Stephens Road. The Bluffs include the 1 mile Sand Hill with a maximum grade of 15%, 3.7 mile Red Bluff with grades of 6.7%, 2 mile Divide Hill with grades of 8.0% and 3.7 mile St. Stephens Road with grades of 6%.

Red Bluff Metric Century

The Red Bluff metric Century distance of 65.1 miles with approximately 3,400 +- feet of elevation will roll through the same scenic and challenging first 53.7 miles of the Gran Fondo west of the Pearl River and will include the Red Bluff region in Lawrence, Walthall and Marion Counties.
